During the first month of the Covid-19 pandemic and lockdown, Meliá Hotels International rewarded healthcare personnel by gifting them thousands of stays in their hotels once they would have reopened.
Under the concept "Noches por vuestros dias" (Nights for your days) a landing page was set up where health workers could automatically receive their reward.
After the success of the campaign, the landing was reopened in several more phases, this time rewarding different sectors of society involved in the fight against the coronavirus.
The campaign was extended for a month and generated more than 80 million impacts thanks to Social and Earned Media.

The second phase of the campaign was directed to security forces and firefighters.
Later on it was opened to all the essential services personnel.
"Gracias por vuestros dias" (Thank you for your days) was the closing piece of the campaign that expressed gratitude to the essential services personnel and summarized the number of gifted nights.
